I choose Snow Country Roofing after meeting with several roofing companies. While their estimate was not the cheapest, it was the most detailed and covered some little items that the other companies had left out. They worked around my schedule and ended up being able to do the job three weeks sooner then they had originally planned. The crew that showed up was polite and very hard working. My yard is extremely small and I was impressed at the crews effort to keep it as clean as they could. After the work was done (2 days!) I was only able to find a couple nails, everything else was cleaned up. They even used a leaf blower to clean off the 100 year old cedar dust my old roof had dispersed in the removal process. Overall the new roof looks great, the crew even patched a few missing pieces of siding that had flown off in a storm last year! Time will tell how the craftsmanship holds up, but I have not been disappointed thus far.

Snow Country Roofing was great, I would recommend them to anyone needing roof replacement. Everyone I talked to over the phone was nice and helpful. Their crew was great! They got the job done in two days and left very little debris. I would suggest doing a walk around after to pick up a loose nail or two, nothing out of the ordinary. I really appreciated the price breakdown they sent me and that they kept close to the original cost. It was somewhat tricky over email to get a hold of them to start the project, I think one point of improvement for them would be this. Not a deal breaker by any means but something to know. I would make sure you ask any questions you have so both sides understand who is responsible for what rather then not knowing. Roofing is expensive but I fully think the work they did was worth it, so far no complaints with it!

Snow country installed a new roof on my house today. It is stunning! What a great job! This Company has been honest and professional from the first contact til finished product today!! I highly recommend snow country if you want honesty, dependability, and a high level of roofing skill. The work crew today arrived at 8am and left at 5 pm. They worked every minute except for a short lunch break. When they left the job was done including cleaning up every scrap of debris. I had a beautiful roof and my lawn was left pristine. Snow Country Roofing did a great job with our roof replacement this month. Our project went through several "phases" and the folks at Snow Country were great in every one of them. For the estimate, Noah came to our house and did a very professional job listening to our preferences and concerns and feeding them back to the office so that they could be included in our quote. Of the three quotes we got from different vendors, Snow Country was in the middle so we selected them. To help us pick out our shingles, Tonya met with us in person at the office and later took the time to sort through their prior jobs to give us references to roofs with the shingles we selected. On the day the work started, Snow Country sent a foreman in addition to the crew that was on site for most of the job to supervise and address any concerns that we had. Our job was on the complex side - eight peaks all with ridge/soffit vent systems - so it took a total of two days. After the job, we sent a "punch list" of items we wanted addressed and Snow Country sent a repair person to our house to resolve them to our satisfaction. Overall a fine experience that will last us another 20+ years.

Hard workers finished the reroofing job the day before Thanksgiving, when the roof got buried in snow. The crew was great! Our roof was damaged in the January 2024 windstorms and Snow Country Roofing got someone out here to patch it up the next day so that it was watertight. We got three quotes and Snow Country was second lowest, but I had low confidence in the lowest bidder. Communication was good between signing the contract and installation, including schedule and scope changes (we decided to replace our skylights). The installation crew showed up and went right to work. I was home while they worked and they did a great job. The finished job looks excellent and we are very pleased with the results. The crew was also diligent about cleaning up after completing the job. I'm glad we chose Snow Country and I recommend them. The customer service and finished product are top-notch.

We highly recommend Snow Country Roofing if you're looking to replace your roof. The management staff was very professional, responsive and attentive to our needs. We met with the estimator who walked around our house prior to providing a very detailed estimate and explained how the process would work. The crew who did the work were respectful of our property and worked diligently to get the project done according to schedule. They cleaned up all debris and left our property in great condition. The project manager kept in contact with us about progress and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the results. Replacing a roof is a big project and we felt Snow Country did an excellent job from beginning to end.

Snow Country Roofing used a drone to provide a detailed estimate of the problems with our roof and the costs of repairing them. Once we accepted the estimate, they provided an accurate timeline of when the work would be done. They did the work as expected. I would definitely hire them again when we need a full roof replacement. Warning: roofs cost a lot more than they used to!

As an old fashioned guy, I respect companies that use the phone as a phone. Requested a quote on a Saturday after waking up to shingles on the ground, in hopes that I would get a phone call on Monday. I got a phone call Monday morning at 8 am from Noah. Talked to me like a human, set up a visit, and that was that. As a guy who grew up farming and then went into the trades, I understand things happen on jobs that ruin any type of plans you thought you had. Noah called at least 2 hours before the estimate appointment and apologized he wouldnt be making it, which I assumed was a type phone call he doesnt like to make. Very professional, explained to me he could do it online with software and I had the estimate in my email by 830 pm. I did not end up going with them, but I will recommend them to others who need a roofing job done. Pricing was spot on, but I chose a local company. Wasnt a 5 minute decision. Communication was great, the interactions were great, and Noah did not pressure or make me feel bad for the decision we made.

From the start Snow Country was very accommodating. We were dealing with an insurance job and they gave us multiple quotes to make sure the insurance company covered as much as possible. When it came to doing the roofing, things got off to a rocky start. We were told one day then not updated that the day was changing, it was supposed to be a one day job, that didnt happen. My new shingled roof looks amazing, but it took 3 attempts and several weeks to finish a small low slope roof we have. Overall when its all said and done, everything looks amazing. I just hope the next customer gets better communication. And I would still hire them again.

Organized, punctual, good quality work

I received a flyer from Snow Country Roofing indicating a house in my area where they were about to replace a roof, the same thing I needed (I had waited too long and my 30+ year old, maybe 40 year old roof had started leaking, with me up in the unimproved attic with totes catching the drips). I finally did that thing that we all need to do - I got a round tuit and I eventually called Snow Country Roofing and I told the rather nice person "I need a new roof!" It is now the second whole day after their crew came and in one day they removed my old roof (many parts including a roof section over a large porch, plus the full house) and they installed a new roof, very fast, very efficient, they use the best materials, and they did a beautiful job. I am extremely pleased. I went from having a 'danger zone' of old crumbling asphalt shingles, years beyond what should have been replaced, to having a gorgeous new roof which I watched being installed by some amazing professionals. Man, I am really high on Snow Country Roofing since every step was handled far more easily and better than I had thought. I feel really lucky since every single step went really well. I am thankful for the excellent work they did, all around. I wish I could take calls and answer why, if your house is in Vermont, Burlington area, or Central Vermont (my house is in Barre) or further away you should consider calling Snow Country Roofing if you need a new roof. They are great. I even liked the way the sales/marketing guy handled everything. He's a fully qualified roofing expert and I felt really comfortable with the simple steps he presented, which we followed, not much time passed, I was on their schedule, and then boom, the whole job was done in one day as I watched. Before choosing Snow Country we had two roofers say they were coming to view and give estimates but they never showed up and two other roofers did show up but never submitted an estimate. Communication with Snow Country was great and they always did what they said they were going to do. Jose and his crew, who took off my old roof down ro the plywood and Iinstalled the new one, were phenomenal! They worked 10 hours on Saturday and returned Sunday morning to finish. Tanya, my point person at Snow Country Roofing was first rate with communication. Jose discovered late Sunday morning that an insufficient supply of shingles had been delivered. I emailed Tanya to let her know, asking how long it would be to get more. I expected that it could take quite a while. On Monday morning, the shingles were delivered, Jose and his crew returned, and the roof was finished, and the project was finished in an hour! The workmanship was outstanding, and the crew left my property was clean as a whistle. I give Snow Country Roofing a 10 star recommendation!

Snow Country had a great team that stripped off the old roof and prepped for the new one in a single day and then efficiently installed the new one in two and a half days. They were friendly and considerate and left the place spic and span on their departure. We have used Snow Country before for another building and had no hesitation in using them for this one and would certainly use them again for another building if we needed.

We had a very good experience with Snow Country roofing. I have an older home and the roof was in very bad shape. Norm came out and gave a very reasonable quote and was very professional and prompt. Although job did go up in price due to the need for completely new decking throughout main house, job still came in lower than several other quotes. Crew was working all weekend to get job done. Very nice clean up after job completed also. Would recommend!

Snow Country did an amazing job on replacing our extensive roof. The worksite team they have are meticulous about installation and clean up and very friendly. I walked the whole site after they left and only found a couple nails in the grass. They were here from 6:30 am to 9 pm each day and the whole project of stripping the old shingles, collecting and disposing of them, a few areas repaired, ice and water shield installed throughout and great Owens Corning shingles that are rated as staying in place up to 130 mph. I would recommend them to anyone!

Snow Country price was competitive but the biggest thing was the time it took to do the job. They stripped the old roof and installed the new roof in 6 hours. Done within a day was what they promised and they delivered on that promise. We were quite impressed with the speed and the friendliness of the staff.
